Talbot Runhof for ARTDECO Blush Couture Review

There’s just something about Artdeco LE blushes that makes them so hard to resist. They have a great quality, they are long-lasting and pigmented, but above everything their compacts are truly to die for lookin’.

One of the latest Artdeco collections for Fall/Winter 2013 is created in collaboration with German fashion duo Talbot & Runhof which is all about bringing fashion and beauty together, which again, makes a perfect combination in my opinion. In case you missed out, Talbot Runhof is a fashion label founded in the early 90’s by two fashion designers Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof and their creations have been worn by many celebrities like Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Angelina Jolie etc.

Artdeco's Talbot Runhof collection is inspired with that “Asian spirits meets Western feeling” and it consists of many beautiful products such as nail polish, single eye shadows, mascara and liquid liner, but, one product that won me over immediately is this stunning tri-coloured blush  that simply screams beauty and elegance.

The blush includes three dusty rose/pink shades that can be applied altogether or individually to give you a radiant and fresh-looking complexion. It's infused with Vitamin C & E for added anti-aging skin benefits and it is paraben, fragrance, lanolin and mineral oil-free.

It comes in a cardboard box and the blush itself is packed in a hard plastic compact case with a mirror inside. It has a tartan design paired with flowers all over it and the influence of art and fashion really comes through it, as well as western and oriental theme of the whole collection.

As I said earlier, the blush includes three shades and I would describe them as dark dusty pink shade, light rose shade and light corally pink shade. You can mix all three to create a unique blush color, or you can use each individually. Personally, I prefer the "the mixing" way.

The blush is incredibly soft and has a subtle pearly finish, which gives a nice subtle dewy effect on the cheeks. I think this is quite universal shade that would look great on all skin tones. Also, I think this is great for everyday use, as it looks very natural once applied.

Although this isn’t the most pigmented blush I own, it is definitely one of the prettiest in my collection. The colors are buildable, soft and bendable and they will stay on throughout the day. I like to use my Real Techniques Multi Task brush from Travel Essentials with it, as it picks up the right amount of color and simply because it is one of my my favorite brushes in the world :-)

For some reason, Artdeco products cost a lot less in Bosnia and Herzegovina, than many other countries. This blush is normally sold for around 20, but I bought mine for less then 15. Yay!!!

Still, there is one thing I hate about this product and it is that "limited edition status" :-( However, this will last you a while as it has 10 grams and you don’t need much of a product to get the nicest natural pinky cheeks.

Have you tried anything from Talbot Runhof collection?
